Who should attend?

The Incredible Years Helping Children with Autism® programme is a 6-session programme for kaiako, of children aged 2-5 on the autism spectrum. It aims to promote children’s emotional regulation, positive social interactions and language development. RTLB may also apply but registrations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

IY TCM group leader training must have been completed, and preference will be given to candidates who are accredited in the IY TCM programme.

This is an intensive, practical training workshop over three days.  'Completion of training' certificates will be given to attendees who attend the full course.

There is an expectation that those who attend this training continue to work towards accreditation in the programme. Information regarding accreditation is provided at the workshop.

  • Manager’s support for attendance
  • Agreement to ongoing communication with Whāraurau on your accreditation pathway plan, support opportunities and progression.
