The Eating Disorders Liaison Clinicians provide clinical liaison between primary, secondary and specialist services for young people, their families and Adults that experience an Eating Disorder.

We are seeking a registered health professional (Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Psychotherapist) with experience to work with Eating Disorders, and who would like to join a small team of 2 FTE.

Key tasks of this role are to support pathways from primary to regional levels of care; to provide training and support to the primary sector (training packages already established); to provide training and support to secondary mental health services including early identification, assessment and treatment modalities; to build strong relationships with our Regional Service and to participate in advanced trainings and EDL forums as offered.

The position is primarily a consult/liaison role and is full-time, although consideration will be given to part-time. Skills to work with Eating Disorders and knowledge of current evidence-based treatments are essential, specialist training will be available.
