Our Starship Paediatric Consult Liaison Team are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician for a fixed term full position providing clinical assessment and therapy to infants, children, adolescents and their families who are under the care of Starship Children’s Hospital.

The position will involve providing education and support to staff teams working with sick children and their families. The Consult Liaison Team is an experienced and dynamic multidisciplinary mental health team which provides mental health consultation and liaison services to the medical and surgical inpatients and outpatients of Starship Children’s Health. This is a temporary funded position to support Staff wellbeing over COVID surges for 12 months starting in May 2022.

As the ideal person for this role, you will be a qualified Mental Health Clinician registered with the relevant board with appropriate training and experience practicing as a social worker, occupational therapist, clinical psychologist, child psychotherapist, registered nurse, or other registered allied health child and adolescent mental health practitioner. You will have a current annual practicing certificate in your profession with at least 3 years relevant post graduate clinical experience in infant, child and adolescent Mental Health.
