Are you a qualified, registered Social Worker? The maternal mental health team is looking for you to join our specialist team as a recovery clinician.
The Maternal Mental Health Service provides a comprehensive specialist multi-disciplinary mental health service to pregnant and post-partum women who experience moderate to severe mental health related issues during this period. Our community-based service has a well-developed continuum of care, offering a range of treatment options that include in-home support, a purpose-built mother and baby respite unit, plus access to a regional mother and baby inpatient unit should the need arise.
The role is a key worker position to work with families in the North Shore Area.
We are seeking experienced clinicians with a good understanding of adult mental health needs who have an interest in the complexity of perinatal period that includes the mother baby relationship. Good assessment skills and engagement skills are a key requirement. You will have excellent communications skills for consultation, networking and liaison and will perform well under pressure.
To be considered for this position, you would need New Zealand registration as well as a current APC.
