Service: Te Whare Mārie, Specialist Māori Mental Health

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: As per MECA, relevant to discipline and experience

Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

Te Whare Mārie is a specialist Māori Mental Health service that provides effective and appropriate assessment and treatment to Children & Adolescents and their whanau from a cultural framework, blending clinical and cultural practice to achieve the best outcome for whaiora. We are seeking applications from registered health professionals.

You will part of a progressive, innovative and creative team that works together as whanau, we believe in supporting each other and the whanau we work with from the dark to the light. We strive to meet the needs of tangata whaiora by providing holistic services that respect, value and include whānau beliefs, customs, language and culture.

You will need sound mental health assessment and treatment skills, be confident in making effective decisions in challenging and complex situations and be open to learning.
