Contact: Permanent full time

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 based on experience

We have a vacancy for a motivated and enthusiastic Pasifika Registered Nurse to join Health Pasifika Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. We offer an exciting work environment and provide opportunities to support your on-going professional development. You will be working with an experienced Clinical team, and will be an essential part of our service delivery. At Health Pasifika CAMHS, we strive to provide quality care to our Pasifika Children, young person’s and their Families seeking mental health and addiction services.

Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team

Pasifika Child Adolescent Mental Health Service, provides mental health services to children and youth aged 0 - 19 from around Central Wellington, Porirua through to Kapiti region.

Our Service:

We provide Clinical and cultural assessment, using Pasifika Cultural frameworks such as the Fonofale and Vaka Atafaga, and treatment planning
Education and training
Monitoring medication when required
Cultural advocacy/interpretation
Family therapy
Group programmes for families, caregivers and young people
Moū – About you

You need to be a Pasifika Registered Mental Health Nurse, who has had experience working in a Child and Adolescent community Mental Health team with a good understanding or wanting to develop your practice in the area of Pasifika models of care and assessment.
