Here turi kōkā (August) - Mahuru (September) 2019

Ngā mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa,
We have enjoyed being part of so many events up and down the country in the last couple of months…

  • Neurodiversity Day
  • CAPA (Choice and Partnership Approach) National Forum
  • The launch of the Cross-Party group on Mental Health and Addictions at Parliament
  • Māori Advisory Group Hui
  • Leveki Fono for Pacific providers and practitioners,
  • Incredible Years (IY) training for group leaders
  • A Youth workshop
  • Trauma-Informed Care national training day

We have been privileged to have so many keynote speakers who have shared their experiences, knowledge, input and direction for ways to improve how we deliver to our sector.

AND... This week we share the 2018 ICAMH AOD Workforce Stocktake Report. The 2018 response rate was at 100%, indicating high levels of engagement with services and the usefulness of this information to planners, funders and service leaders. Special thanks to all staff within DHB services, NGOs and PHOs who have contributed to the 2018 Stocktake.

Ngā mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa,
Sue
Director, Werry Workforce Whāraurau
