Whāraurau Kaimahi | Our Staff

Whāraurau is the national centre for infant, child, and youth mental health and addiction workforce development.

We work toward improving the mental health of children and young people in New Zealand through supporting teaching, training, resources, promoting evidence-based practice, workforce development, advocacy, and by actively supporting those who provide services to children, young people, and their families/whānau.

We are contracted by Te Whatu Ora and Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga through Auckland UniServices Ltd, the research application company of Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland, to undertake workforce development within the infant, child, and youth mental health and addictions sector.
