If you have completed courses one and two of our perinatal mental health online learning then this workshop is an opportunity to reflect on what you have learned.

The theme of the day is ‘ata whakarongo – the art of listening’. This reflective workshop is designed around effective communication, especially through active listening, and is pivotal in creating a supportive environment for expectant whānau.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand the importance of whānaungatanga in perinatal mental health
  • Engage in activities that encourage the practice of whānaungatanga
  • Undertsand the importance of diversity and inclusion with engagement
