This eLearning was designed by young people with lived experience working in youth consumer advisor and youth peer support roles in the mental health and addictions sector.

During this course, you will learn about becoming a youth consumer advisor and youth peer support roles, how to apply lived experience when working with young people and services, and practical tips on working in this space.

Ka Rangatahi Workshop Series

Are you a young person with lived experience supporting other young people in mental health and addiction services?

Are you a youth peer support worker or youth consumer advisor looking to expand your skills, and meet others in roles like yours?

During this two-day workshop, you will learn about youth consumer advisor and youth peer support roles, how to apply lived experience when working with young people and services, and practical tips on working in this space.

We will be joined by experts in the lived experience space, who will share their experiences, and facilitate conversations to support young people in lived experience and peer roles to grow and upskill.
