Biography

Fiona Mackinnon is an experienced professional with over 25 years of expertise in various service environments, including specialist youth services, AOD (Alcohol and Other Drugs), disability, mental health, homeless services, and workforce education and training. As the Youth Forensics Project Manager, Fiona brings a diverse skill set and a strong passion for social equity and supporting empowerment.

Fiona believes in the value of walking alongside others and taking a "doing with, not to" approach to both workforce development and client engagement. She firmly believes that regardless of age or stage in life, we all have the potential to become masters of our own change and growth.

Fiona works Monday to Friday her role focuses on supporting workforce development for kaimahi who work with rangatahi who are or are at increased risk of engagement with AOD, mental health , care and protection and youth justice systems
