While trying to do best for our young people, it can sometimes be a confusing and daunting space; balancing our own knowledge, ethics and the law.  Empower yourself with the legal kete of knowledge to strengthen your own best practice and guide our rangitahi toward informed decision making.  Covering situations such as online, health and the educational setting, we will walk through the consent and confidentiality space from the young person’s point of view in youth rights.

Sarah is a legal educator and has worked in the community space for over 14 years.  

YouthLaw Aotearoa is a free community law centre providing legal services to anyone aged under 25 who is unable to access legal help elsewhere, or those acting on their behalf.
