In this online seminar on Tuesday 20 July from 9.00am to 3.00pm, you will get an understanding of solution-focused interventions, as well as receive practical tools you can use in your mahi.
Topics covered include:
• The history, theory and practice of solution-focused interventions
• Techniques and practice assumptions
• Solution-focused practice with the person, the worker and the work
• Practical applications
You will be working in pairs using ‘live practice’ (not in front of the group), and so will need to bring real-life work examples to use.
The seminar will be led by Eva Corson, who is family counsellor working with Family Works Northern. Her chosen modality is solution-focused therapy.
