Incredible Years Teacher | Group leader training

Whāraurau invites you to register to attend an online 5-session Training workshop for delivery of the Incredible Years® Teacher Programme

This workshop is intended for professionals who will be delivering the Incredible Years® Teacher Programme.

This is an intensive, practical training workshop over 5 sessions.  'Completion of training' certificates will be given to attendees who attend the full five sessions.

There is an expectation that those who attend this training continue to work towards accreditation in the programme. Information regarding accreditation is provided at the workshop.

Session dates and times:

This training workshop will be held over 5 days starting at 8:00am and finishing at 11:15am. The sessions will be held on the following days:

1. Wednesday 27 October
2. Friday 29 October
3. Wednesday 3 November
4. Thursday 4 November
5. Friday 5 November

Commitment required from practitioner:

• Attend all five sessions – if you are unable to attend all five sessions, please do not register.
• Manager’s support for attendance at the training and subsequent consultation days and fidelity workshops.
• Agreement to ongoing communication with Whāraurau on your accreditation pathway plan, support opportunities and progression.
• Ongoing co-delivery of the IY Teacher Programme with another IY-trained practitioner from your organisation.

Group leader manuals and resources are not provided at the training. Additional books and programme materials such as leader manuals, DVDs, handouts, etc. can be purchased directly from the Incredible Years® USA website.

Cost: There is no charge for this workshop. Light refreshments will be served. Vegetarian options will be available.
