Incredible Years Teacher | Development & Consultation day for peer coaches

-
Are you looking to grow in your role as a peer coach?
-
Would you like to learn from other peer coaches in an interactive and supportive environment?
During this in-person Incredible Years® Peer Coach Development and Consultation day in Auckland on Friday 13 October, you will get an opportunity to connect with other peer coaches and grow in your practice.
The day will be led by Anna Dickson. The day starts with updates and covers the topics listed below. The second half of the day is the consultation day. We will be contacting those registered to confirm who is bringing footage of leading a PC session for review.
Topics covered during the day could include:
- Accreditation
- A review of peer coach training and where we're at as peer coaches
- The format for a peer coach session
- Overview of peer coaches in each region
- Support for online delivery and follow-up support for those trained online
- How to engage with group leaders who are reluctant to do peer coaching
- How peer coaches can support fidelity workshops, and the sustainability of IYT in schools
A consultation provides peer coaches with an opportunity for peer review of their group delivery. Consultations are important for peer coaches who are working towards accreditation. They are beneficial for the ongoing development of both accredited peer coaches and those not yet accredited.
This session will be held for up to 10 peer coaches.
