  • Would you like to learn skills to involve whānau, partners, parents and other important people in an individual’s care?

  • Do you want to learn how to structure family meetings and gain confidence in managing more than one person in the room?

The Single Session Family Consultation (SSFC) framework helps you bring parents, partners, extended whānau and other support people alongside the individual, taking into account each of their unique needs.

SSFC is a tool that helps you meet your ‘engaging with whānau KPI’ and teaches you to work safely and confidently with whānau. It is appropriate for people working in adult services as well as child and youth services.

The SSFC training consists of two components:

  • Two e-learning modules (allow 2 to 4 hours)
  •  A one-day interactive online workshop

Please note: Once you have been accepted into the training, you will be given a link to the e-learning modules. These will need to be completed prior to the online workshop on 1 May.

Registrations for this training has now closed.
