Abi Milnes is the Director of Whāraurau and loves being part of a team that is motivated to help ensure our mental health workforce are skilled and supported to enable tamariki, taiohi and whānau thrive. Abi has managed workforce development programmes in youth mental health, rural health workforce recruitment and retention, and public health policy, primarily in primary care. Abi is based in the Tāmaki Makaurau office.

Abi is committed to being part of the collective effort to achieve equitable outcomes for Mokopuna Māori and for minority populations throughout Aotearoa. Abi is passionate about improving the well-being of our workforce and the young people and whānau they serve.
