Paul has worked in the HIV, mental health and substance misuse fields for nearly 30 years. He is an accredited DAPAANZ supervisor and holds an M.A. in Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Paul also holds a post graduate Certificate in Substance Misuse (Training & Education), a BA (Hons) and is a registered and accredited psychotherapist with BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

Paul is incredibly passionate about therapeutic communities and has his dream job. In St Marks no two days are the same and Pauls role fluctuates between being the clinical lead whilst also taking care of HR, finances, contracts, reporting and so on. His favourite TC (Therapeutic Community) saying is: 'Make the covert overt!'
