Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) - John Vogenthaler, Te Pou

This introduction to FASD explored a learning resource aimed at building capacity across the workforce. The free eLearning course supports a range of frontline professionals to recognise and respond compassionately to people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and other neurodisabilities. The session included information on the risks associated with alcohol and pregnancy and ways of supporting healthy pregnancies, an overview of FASD, and a description of the landscape of services and support in Aotearoa.

Whāraurau is proud to be able to offer a series of online trainings. These Lunchtime Learning events provide an opportunity for ongoing education and connection for the ICAMH, AOD, NGO and PHO sectors.
