Well, 2018 has been quite a year with Mental Health and Addiction issues well and truly in the spotlight. Many stories have been shared publicly of system failures, access challenges and personal tragedy. For the workforce in our sector it has been a double dose – enduring media criticism despite their continued efforts working with people in distress and dealing with increased pressure from vacancies and increased demand.
